First of the second round of sketches, with groundplan...
I tried a few different things with this iteration of the design. I made the roof beams slightly smaller, added some thatch to the roof, and did some more suggestive things with the profile of the back wall. I also added a tree SL and put a window in the back wall.
(In the sketch, i've moved the SR table. )

I love the ground row.
My only thought at the moment (I'm up way past my bedtime) -- you mentioned earlier that you wanted the fire to have some central focus. I kinda liked that. Yet, with the latest, it seems pushed aside. Was that due to a director comment, or did your feelings change about its importance, or what?
