Moonlight and Magnolias opens this week

Moonlight and Magnolias is opening here in Winston-Salem, NC this week on Friday (18th of Sept) and runs for only two weekends.

See blurb and website below.

MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS
by Ron Hutchinson
September 18 - 20 and 24 - 28
AUDITIONS MONDAY AUGUST 3
Tickets on sale September 14

The year is 1938 and after three years work preparing to shoot GONE
WITH THE WIND, producer David O. Selznick stops production because
he’s not happy with the script! And the burning of Atlanta has already
been filmed. Selznick locks Victor Fleming, director of WIZARD OF OZ,
and Ben Hecht, one of Hollywood’s finest writers, in his office and
refuses to let them out until they have completely re-written the
massive screenplay to his liking. You will howl at the hilarious
behind-the-scenes birth pangs of one of America’s favorite motion
pictures. Daily News said – “Frankly, My Dear, this is one funny
play!”
